COMEDK PGET 2013 entrance exam Notification

The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association is the combined effort to offer an effective, apt, fair and objective type of exam process to determine the seats for students who seek admissions to the Post Graduate Medical, Dental and Engineering courses of the Member Institutions, have come together and formed "Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental College of Karnataka". COMEDK has been assigned the task of organizing a common entrance test for the academic year 2013.

COMEDK will take separate entrance test for Medical Dental and Engineering Post Graduate courses called "COMEDK PGET 2013" for all the aspiring candidates seeking admissions to Post Graduate Medical & Dental Programs.

The entrance test is being conducted for merit determination for COMEDK Member Institutions only. It is a mandatory test for those students who want to seek admission in Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in member institutions. The score of this entrance test is valid only for the same academic year in seeking admission in the member institutes. Final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of counseling done by individual member institutes.

COMEDK 2013 Eligibility:

All the aspiring candidates should have passed successfully passed their M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. from an institution recognized by MCI / DCI & must have completed or still pursuing their internship by
30/04/2013 at the latest.

For Post Graduate Regulation of Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the Entrance Test (COMEDK PGET-2013) for eligibility and admission to Post Graduate Courses shall be 50% for General Merit candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes (All India) and Other Backward Classes belonging to Karnataka State only.
